Terms of Service
Effective July 8, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Tuig Technologies Inc. (“we”) governing your use of Sage (the “App”). By creating an account you accept them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the App. By using it you confirm both.
2. What the App is
The App provides an AI wellness companion: supportive, AI-generated conversation and self-guided wellness exercises. The companion is artificial intelligence. It is not a human, cannot feel human emotion, and is not a therapist, counselor, physician, or licensed professional of any kind.
3. What the App is not — please read this section carefully
THE APP IS NOT THERAPY, COUNSELING, OR MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH CARE, AND IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. USING THE APP DOES NOT CREATE A PROVIDER-PATIENT OR THERAPIST-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP. THE COMPANION'S RESPONSES ARE AI-GENERATED, MAY BE INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE, AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. THE APP IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE AND CANNOT CONTACT EMERGENCY SERVICES OR ANYONE ELSE FOR YOU. IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS OR THINKING ABOUT HARMING YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE, CALL OR TEXT 988 (SUICIDE & CRISIS LIFELINE), TEXT HOME TO 741741 (CRISIS TEXT LINE), OR CALL 911. THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL CARE, AND COMPANION CHATBOTS MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR SOME MINORS; THE APP IS FOR ADULTS ONLY.
4. Your account
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access other users' data or our systems beyond your own account; probe, reverse engineer, scrape, or access the App by automated means; attempt to make the companion violate its safety rules; or resell or commercially exploit the App.
6. Your content
You own the content you submit. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the App: processing your content to generate responses, maintain continuity, run safety systems, and provide your export and deletion rights. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it. The App's software, design, and branding are ours or our licensors'.
7. Subscriptions
The App does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If we introduce them, we will update these Terms with pricing, renewal, and cancellation details before they take effect.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
11. Dispute resolution
If you have a concern, please contact us first at nick@tuigtech.com — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally, and we genuinely want to hear from you.
12. Termination
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; your data rights under the Privacy Policy survive.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will flag material changes in the App; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Contact: Tuig Technologies Inc., nick@tuigtech.com.
