Tuig Technologies Inc.
Privacy Policy
Effective July 8, 2026
This policy describes how Tuig Technologies Inc. (“we”) handles your information when you use Sage (the “App”). Questions: nick@tuigtech.com.
The short version
Your conversations exist to support you, not to be monetized. We do not show ads, we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, we do not use third-party analytics trackers, and your content is not used to train AI models. You can export or permanently delete your data from inside the App at any time.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, and your name if you share it through Sign in with Apple.
- Intake responses: the questions you answer when you set up the App, used to personalize your companion.
- Your conversations: the messages you exchange with the companion.
- Created as you use the App: short summaries of your sessions (so the companion has continuity), and safety event records created if our safety system responds to a message (see “Safety” below).
- Technical basics: device and app-version information and operational logs. Our operational logs never contain the content of your conversations.
How we use it
To provide the App: generating the companion's responses, maintaining continuity between sessions, operating your account, and keeping the service secure and reliable. To keep you safe: every message is screened by our safety system so the App can surface crisis resources when it should. That's the list. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
AI processing
The companion's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. Your messages are processed by Anthropic Claude models through Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock), acting as our service providers, on infrastructure in the United States. Under our agreements, your content is not used by AWS or the model provider to train AI models.
Safety
If a message indicates a possible crisis, the App will show crisis resources such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and the Crisis Text Line, and a record of that safety event is kept. The App is not an emergency service and cannot contact anyone on your behalf; in an emergency, call 911.
Where your data lives and how it's protected
Your data is stored with Amazon Web Services in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest with keys we control. Access is restricted and logged. Conversation processing for AI responses may transit other U.S. regions for capacity; storage remains in our primary U.S. region.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual conversations, or your entire account, from Settings; account deletion removes your data from our live systems immediately and the process completes well within 30 days. Encrypted backup copies age out within 35 days of deletion. Limited AI processing logs used for quality and audit expire automatically within 30 days.
Your controls
- Export: request a copy of your data from Settings and receive it in the App.
- Delete: remove individual conversations or your entire account from Settings, no email required, no retention dark patterns.
- California residents: you have rights to know, delete, and correct, exercisable through the in-app tools above or by contacting us; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we use sensitive personal information only to provide the App and for safety; we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. See also Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Age
The App is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and note the new effective date; material changes will be flagged in the App. Contact: Tuig Technologies Inc., nick@tuigtech.com.
